The Master of Ceremonies
At 19, Brent Corrigan is already a veteran of the adult entertainment industry. He can be seen starring as Fox Ryder in Falcon Studios' September release "The Velvet Mafia."
Brent is now forming his own adult entertainment company. Visit BrentCorriganOnline.com for more details.
He will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for our pageant and coronation when our guests elect, through the purchase of raffle tickets, a new King or Queen of the Fairies.
Puck the Prankster Fairy
In 2004, Julian Marshburn was elected Mr. SF Leather 2004, where he went on to represent San Francisco at the International Mr. Leather competition in Chicago. Julian works as a physical trainer and certified massage therapist while completing his degree in chiropractic medicine.
At the fundraiser, Julian will appear as Puck, Robin Goodfellow, the merry
prankster of lore and of Shakespeare's play from which we get our theme. His will accept bribes from guests
to play pranks on our court of fairy volunteers.
These candidates will be performing and competing through the sale of raffle tickets to be elected the next King or Queen of the Fairies.
Note that as will all such events in San Francisco, our line-up may be subject to change without notice...
Artemis Chase began her drag career in Portland, but is a recent addition to San Francisco by way of New York City where she honed her talent in the world of club kids, androfags, freaks, and fashionistas. In San Francisco, she has performed at the Cinch, the Monster Show, and Charlie Horse, and will make her Trannyshack debut on September 3rd at the Cat Club's special event "Trannyshack vs. Club Gossip."
Playwright/actor Michael Phillis recently moved to San Francisco after graduating from U.C. Santa Barbara. His one-man autobiographical play "D*Face," developed in the Artists-in-Residency program at the Jon Sims Centre, was mounted last winter at the New Conservatory Theatre and then brought back for a second run as part of their popular Pride Season programming.
Katya Ludmilla Smirnoff-Skyy, the Russian opera diva, exploded onto San Francisco's cabaret scene following a performance at Trauma Flintstone's "Bijou" at Martuni's last year. In addition to regular performances at Bijou, Cookie Dough's Monster Show, and other shows around town, Katya also has her own monthly show at Martuni's. She is Miss February in the AIDS Housing Alliance's "Desperate Divas 2007" calendar.
Varian is a frequent addition to Trauma Flintstone's monthly cabaret "Bijou" at Martuni's, where even the femcee herself is never quite certain exactly how far he'll go...
An escapee from Orange County, Foxy Cotton ended up in San Francisco after living pretty much everywhere. He is a performance artist, portrait photographer, DJ, go-go dancer, and poet. His newest party is the Sissy Club, a monthly rock n roll afterhours at the new Deco Lounge.
"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is a fundraiser for Community United Against Violence, which will be held in a private house in San Francisco. Visit Frantix.net to purchase tickets in advance for nearly 25% off the door price.
Because of the adult nature of this event and the open bar, guests must be 21 or older to purchase a ticket. IDs will be checked at the door.
Members of the media may be present, including a documentary film crew. By attending this event, you acknowledge that audio and visual recordings may be made and your voice or image may be used for editorial and noncommercial purposes and you agree that no compensation will be due to you.
